RETURN to the exhibition

Here is one of Eugène Atget's photographs that I used as reference for my constructions. His photos are of course in black and white, mine are in colour, and then any object within the room or in corridors or rooms through doorways, I painted in watercolour and gouache. I kept to the same scale for foreground and background, whatever can be seen, I attempted to make in these individual constructions.
